Thea Cameron is a lawyer at Cameron Law. She was born and raised in Orillia and returned with her family after several years living across Canada and abroad. Thea completed her law degree at Dalhousie Law School in 2008 and was called to the bar in 2009. She began her career at a pre-eminent national law firm in Toronto. She later joined Galbraith Family Law in Barrie, before joining her husband’s corporate commercial practice in Orillia.
Thea’s practice focuses on residential real estate, wills, estate planning and estate administration. In her real estate practice, Thea helps clients to purchase or sell their home, condo or cottage property. She will work closely with first time homebuyers to navigate the exciting process of buying their first home or condo. She also works with clients looking to refinance their existing properties. In addition, Thea assists clients who have chosen to undertake a private purchase or sale.
In her wills and estates practice, Thea assists clients with drafting wills, powers of attorney, estate planning, and estate administration. For standard wills and powers of attorney she has a competitive flat fee structure and streamlined process that makes the crucial, but often neglected, task of completing a will as simple as possible for her clients. In addition, Cameron Law is well versed in assisting business owners, professionals, and cottage owners with more intricate estate planning needs given our combined knowledge of tax, business, corporate, family and estate law.
Thea is a mother of three small children who keep her very busy! In her spare time she is an avid runner and recently completed her first marathon. She enjoys downhill skiing, travelling, and spending time at the family cottage in Temagami.
